My Philosophy
Real estate, for me, is a dynamic process. It’s about transition, and in this lies the passion and privilege of my work. It is an exceptional opportunity to work with people during what often amounts to one of the great, pivotal events in their lives. The work is very personal, and very meaningful. Real estate, for me, is only partly about property. Of course I love property; I love land, trees, gardens, architecture, and design; I love seeing the potential in homes, the charm, interest, and function people can create with their living space. I love the beauty and, often, here in Sonoma County, the true majesty of land and setting. But my work in real estate is much more than just property sales. It’s about the meaning of home for people, and this can be very deep. It’s about learning of people’s dreams, and then helping to realize them. It’s about listening and understanding and support and the privilege of trust; coming into people’s lives during often vulnerable and stressful times, and having the ability and tools to help navigate through these challenges.
